Phillip holds a Bachelor of Administration Degree (1979) from the University of Rhodesia and a Masters in Business Leadership (MBL) (1995) from University of South Africa. He has thirty-six years experience in the Insurance Industry and is a qualified Chartered Insurance Practitioner with a Fellowship from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK). He has been involved in the Insurance Industry in several capacities including:-
Phillip is the founder of Capitol Insurance Brokers after working for AON Zimbabwe and was also involved in the formative stages of setting up Zimbabwe Insurance Brokers and its Reinsurance Broking Division. Phillip has been involved in broader Industry Affairs and is a former Deputy President of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC). He is a Director of several organizations.

Pamella Simango is the Executive Director responsible for Finance, Human Resources and Administration at Capitol Insurance Brokers. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree and has twenty-nine years working experience in the insurance industry. She joined Capitol in 1996, having worked for Zimbabwe Insurance Brokers for seven years.

Gerald is an Insurance and Risk Professional with over sixteen years of hands on experience working for top insurance broking and underwriting firms in Zimbabwe; the likes of Phoenix Assurance, Old Mutual Insurance (formerly RM Insurance), Aon Zimbabwe, Capitol Insurance Brokers and HRIB. Gerald`s specialty is short-term insurance broking, underwriting and risk management for medium sized and large scale corporate entities. He is heavily involved in the designing and implementation of seamless insurance and risk management programmes that fit into each of the company`s broad business objectives. Gerald holds a Certificate of Proficiency in both Short-Term Insurance and Trusteeship & Pensions as well as a Diploma in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe.

He holds a Diploma in Insurance and has fifteen years working experience in the insurance industry. He joined Capitol in 2013 after having worked at Alliance Insurance Company and Altfin Insurance Company.

Takudzwa Chigwagwa is responsible for the Gold team which handles personal lines. He holds a B.Com Honours Degree in Insurance and Risk Management from National University of Science and Technology. He also has a Diploma in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe and has 8 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry, having joined Capitol Insurance Brokers in 2016.
